Woven fabric terminology:

Fabric weave: By controlling the weft yarn passing through the warp yarn, different fabric patterns and structures can be formed. This change is called fabric weave, which is the common plain weave, twill weave, and satin weave. These three types are the simplest fabric weaves, and other complex patterns are derived from these three forms.

Plain weave: The weave formed by the interweaving of warp yarns and weft yarns one after another is called plain weave. Plain weave is the simplest one among all fabrics.

Twill Weave: points (or weft points) continuous diagonal lines are called twill weave. The surface of the twill fabric has diagonal lines composed of warp weave points (or weft weave points).

Satin weave: Separate, discontinuous warp weave points (or weft weave points) are regularly and evenly distributed in the organization cycle. Such an organization is called a satin weave. The surface of the fabric all presents warp and float long lines (or weft and float long lines), so the surface of the fabric is shiny, soft and smooth.

Change organization: It is formed by the combination of the above three basic organizational changes. Such as mountain-shaped twill and sharp twill.

Complex organization: Including double weave (weave into terry cloth, cotton blanket, etc.), raised weave (such as corduroy), towel weave (towel fabric), double weave (towel fabric) and leno weave
